Buffalo supermarket shooter rooted for New Zealand mosque killer

Man: is accused of killing 10 people in a Buffalo supermarket on Saturday He was ousted by New Zealand white supremacists who shot dead dozens of people three years ago, according to a 180-page manifesto posted on the Internet.

18-year-old Peyton Gendron wrote a terribly cold “questions and answers” section in the manifesto, which expresses the white nationalist beliefs that, according to him, forced him to plan the Buffalo attack.

He said that “the special person who has radicalized (himself) the most” is Brenton Tarant, the man who. killed 51 people During the shootings in two mosques in New Zealand in 2019.

The manifesto names several other people who inspired Gendron, including Dylan Ruff, a young man who killed nine black people in a South Carolina church in 2015, and Anders Breivik, a Norwegian man who killed 77 people in 2011.

In the manifesto, Gendron said he had lived all his life in South New York. He described himself as an engineering student at SUNY Broome.

Police say the killer drove for “hours” to carry out the attack. Gendron reportedly lives in Conklin, New York, about three and a half hours’ drive from Buffalo.

“Truth is my personal life, experiences are worthless,” the manifesto said. Gendron wrote that he got his white nationalist ideology “mostly from the Internet” that the people I met “had little effect on my personal beliefs.”

The terrifying document described how Gendron planned the attack in the smallest detail.

“The 14208 postal code in Buffalo (Tops Friendly Market) has the highest percentage of shares, which is quite close to where I live,” Gendron wrote.

He also said he bought body armor to protect himself from bullets fired by the store’s security guards. Police say Gendron shot dead a retired Buffalo police officer before continuing his rage.

Gendron’s manifesto included pages of anti-Semitic gossip, but his program of attack focused exclusively on black people.

“I have never been diagnosed with a mental disability or disorder,” he wrote. “I think I’m perfectly sane.”

Gendron was arrested at Tops Friendly Market after he shot at 13 people, killing 10 of them. Nine of the 13 people he shot were black, police said. He has been charged with murder, and investigators say he may be charged with terrorism and hate crime.
