Marcus Washington is rearranging Georgia’s obligations

After all, Georgia did not end up with its 2022 signing lesson, increasing its position of need by borrowing from its 2023 lesson. Marcus Washington, the corner defender who was Georgia’s highest rating for next year’s class, announced on Monday that he will be reclassified in 2022 and will register in Athens this summer.

The son of the former Georgia player, Washington, ranked 69th in the 2023 category at 247Sports Composite and was the eighth corner defender. He will miss his senior year at Grovetown (Ga.) High School as he has accumulated enough credits to be admitted to UGA a year earlier than planned.

This brings this year’s Georgian recruitment class to 29 signatories, including 18 pre-registered.
